Join us at Queen's Park for the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket

Derbyshire return to Queen’s Park on Sunday for the start of the tenth successive Autoworld Volvo XC90 Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council.

The action begins with a NatWest T20 Blast clash versus Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday 5 July; 2.30pm start.

New Zealand international Hamish Rutherford will be available for the Falcons alongside Big Bash star bowler Nathan Rimmington, who starred last time out returning figures of 3-24 in the thrilling win over Notts Outlaws at The 3aaa County Ground.

The focus then switches to the longest format the following day when Glamorgan arrive for the start of the LV= County Championship fixture on Monday 6 July; 11am start. Supporters will be treated to four days of traditional first-class cricket in the picturesque setting of Queen’s Park.

The Festival concludes with the eagerly-awaited local derby against Yorkshire Vikings on Sunday 12 July; 2.30pm. Interest in the fixture, which saw over 4,000 in attendance in 2014, has been high with only a limited number of tickets still available.

Members and Six Pack Ticket holders wishing to attend the fixture against Yorkshire Vikings on Sunday 12 July must claim their tickets in advance. Please call 0871 350 1870 to claim your tickets.

Ticket Information 

Supporters who buy their tickets 24 hours in advance of the game will save £4 per adult ticket purchased. Best value for adults, however, can be found through one of our popular Six Pack Tickets which grants entry to any six days of cricket for just £72.

Due to building work, limited parking will still be available, signposted on Boythorpe Road, to those in possession of a parking pass or parking ticket. This will be on a first come, first serve basis.

The Club would advise supporters to plan their journeys in advance of the day and give plenty of time to arrive at the ground. Supporters without a parking pass are encouraged to make their own parking arrangements, with a number of public car parks available in the immediate vicinity of the ground, or make full use of public transport available in the area.
