VACANCY: Matchday Host / Club Ambassador

Following the refurbishment of the Baytree Cars Executive Lounge, Derbyshire County Cricket Club is seeking a Matchday Host / Club Ambassador.

The Club is looking for a dedicated, organised and well-presented individual (with or without a hosting partner) who is able to project a positive and professional image of the Club. They will need to have a strong affinity with Derbyshire County Cricket Club and a good knowledge of the rules and workings of all formats of the modern game.

Reporting to the Administration Director on the Supervisory Board, the Matchday Host / Club Ambassador will be responsible for welcoming and looking after a diverse range of visiting representatives from the 17 other First Class Counties whom we are playing. The role will involve:

  • Management, coordination and policing of guest lists in partnership with the Club’s Head of Operations
  • Providing a personal welcome to visiting guests to the Baytree Cars Executive Lounge
  • Hosting lunches with visiting guests
  • Ensuring that visiting guests receive excellent service throughout their visit to The 3aaa County Ground from our Derbyshire Experience catering team

The role is a volunteer post but expenses and complimentary hospitality will be included for this vital ambassadorial role.
