New Zealand batsman Hamish Rutherford hit 56 from 48 balls, while Mark Footitt claimed 2-45 from his nine overs during an enthralling game at The 3aaa County Ground.

They are led by Australian batsman Michael Klinger while their coaching team is made up of former Yorkshire off-spinner Richard Dawson and former Australia all-rounder Ian Harvey.

2005 Ashes hero Geraint Jones is set to feature tomorrow, with the former England wicketkeeper recently announcing his retirement plans for the end of the season.
