Graeme Welch has named a 13-man squad as Derbyshire Falcons prepare to take on Surrey in the Royal London One-Day Cup at Guildford tomorrow; 10.30am start.

Scott Elstone, who hit an unbeaten 172 for the Second XI on Thursday, features in the Falcons squad after he was drafted in as a late replacement for the injured Hamish Rutherford yesterday.

Elstone was part of the side that defeated Northamptonshire Steelbacks by seven wickets at The 3aaa County Ground on Friday to claim their second win of the competition.

Billy Godleman (109 not out) scored his maiden List-A century in a game where Derbyshire successfully chased down 231 with ten balls to spare. Matt Critchley had earlier claimed career-best figures of 4-48 as part of good all-round bowling display.

The Falcons will be without New Zealand international Rutherford after he was ruled out through injury. His overseas replacement, Sri Lanka batting all-rounder Tillakaratne Dilshan, is set to arrive in time for Tuesday’s home fixture against Leicestershire Foxes.
