The thoughts of all at Derbyshire County Cricket Club are with everyone effected by the tragic events in Manchester.

The Club place safety of all visitors to the ground as the highest priority.

We will continue to work closely with the police and other relevant authorities when planning all events at The 3aaa County Ground, and regularly review and update safety and security procedures.

Furthermore, the ICC and ECB place security and safety at the ICC Champions Trophy and ICC Women’s World Cup this summer as the highest priority.

The ICC operate on advice from the Tournament Security Directorate – in conjunction with the ECB and relevant authorities – to ensure that they have a robust safety and security plan for both tournaments.

The ICC will continue to work with authorities over the coming hours and days and review their security in line with the threat levels.

The security situation has been very much front and centre of preparations and the ICC constantly review procedures to guarantee they are as effective as possible to keep everyone safe.

The ICC do not disclose security details as a matter of policy.
