The Derbyshire County Cricket Club Cricket Academy, run in partnership with Derby College, is hosting an Open Day on Friday 15 July between 6.30pm and 8pm at The 3aaa County Ground.
Young Adults who are interested in the attending the event should pre-register today, and receive FREE tickets to watch Derbyshire take on Sri Lanka A in a 50-over Tour fixture that evening.
The aim of the Academy is to offer young people an exciting opportunity to join the professional sports industry as well as gaining invaluable skills from work placements including community coaching and sports marketing.
Students enrolled on the course will receive professional coaching from current and former first-class cricketers in the state-of-the-art Elite Performance Centre at The 3aaa County Ground.
In association with Derby College, the students will also study a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching as well as receiving professional training and utilising player performance analysis labs at the home of Derbyshire Cricket.
