England vs South Africa

Originally scheduled for Friday 11 September at The Incora County Ground

On Monday 6 July the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced that any England Women’s matches in 2020 would be played behind closed doors.

Unfortunately, that includes the second One-Day International between England and South Africa at The Incora County Ground, originally scheduled for Friday 11 September.

The ECB continue to plan for a number of women’s matches to take place later this summer, however these fixtures will be played without crowds in the interest of safety due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is disappointed to be unable to welcome crowds for an England fixture in 2020, but the safety of all players and spectators remains the club’s priority. We’ve seen fantastic support for England in Derby in recent seasons and we want to be able to welcome you back to The Incora County Ground as soon as it is safe to do so.

Supporters who purchased tickets for England’s ODI versus South Africa at The Incora County Ground in September will be contacted via email with further details. If you do not receive this email, please get in touch at [email protected].
