Capital Breakfast’s Dino and Pete will host the Club’s first ever Fireworks Night and Fun Fair spectacular on Saturday 5 November at The 3aaa County Ground.
Derbyshire has stepped in to host the major city fireworks extravaganza, in partnership with Pattonair – the leading aerospace and defence supply chain service provider.
There’s lots to look forward to on the night, with music from Capital FM, a massive pyrotechnic and fireworks display, a large fun fair and entertainment.
Gates open at 5pm, with the spectacular fireworks display from 7pm. Tickets are on sale now, with discounts available for those who buy in advance.
Chief Executive, Simon Storey said: “It will be a great opportunity for Derby to get together as we offer a great family night out this Fireworks Night.
“When budget pressures meant that Derby City Council could not financially sustain the traditional event in Markeaton Park, we immediately approached the Council to offer an alternative venue.
“We have terrific facilities and the ground will provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all the family to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display – equal to that of the popular Markeaton Park event – in the heart of Derby.
“We have had to introduce a small entrance fee to help cover our costs associated with the event, but we are confident the display and entertainment will be spectacular.
“We’re grateful to Pattonair, a large local employer based in Derby, and Capital FM for their support of the event, and we hope many local people can join us on the night.”
Pattonair Chief Executive, Wayne Hollinshead added: “We are very proud to be supporting this community event. Pattonair has been established in Derby for nearly 20 years and we are pleased to be partnering with Derbyshire in the staging of the evening.”

VIP Hospitality is available in the 3aaa Pavilion and will provide the best seats in the house for the evening’s entertainment.
Hospitality includes a two-course meal and a first-class view of the fireworks spectacular. Hospitality is priced at £30 for adults and £17.50 for juniors.
