HIGHLIGHTS: Day One vs Durham

Duanne Olivier (5-20) claimed five, whilst Hardus Viljoen (3-30) took three wickets as Derbyshire dismissed Durham for 96 on Day One at Emirates Riverside. 

Wayne Madsen hit 36 and Matt Critchley scored 38 on a tough day for batsmen in Durham. Cameron Steel’s men took eight Derbyshire wickets to claw a way back into the game as 18 wickets fell in total.

Derbyshire closed on 175-8, with a lead of 79 runs, as Tony Palladino (23 not out) and Alfie Gleadall (12 not out), frustrated the hosts with an unbeaten stand of 40. Earlier in the day, Gleadall claimed his maiden first-class wicket.
