HIGHLIGHTS: Day Three vs Glamorgan

Thursday 29th June 2017
Written by Danny Painter

Watch action from Day Three of the Specsavers County Championship fixture versus Glamorgan at Cardiff, as Jeevan Mendis struck with the final ball of the day to leave Glamorgan 0-1 in their chase of 212.

A rain-affected afternoon meant play did not start until 6pm and soon Derbyshire were bowled out for 160. Luis Reece hit 55 and Mendis added a quick-fire 27 for the visitors, who set Glamorgan 212 to win.

With six overs to bat under the floodlights, Jacques Rudolph and Timm van der Gugten blocked out 35 balls for no run, before Mendis had Rudolph lbw off the last delivery before stumps, reducing Glamorgan to 0-1 and leaving the match finely poised.
