Luis Reece (184) and Billy Godleman (106 not out) struck centuries as Derbyshire moved their lead beyond 250 on Day Two at The Pattonair County Ground.
Reece, who earlier in the day received his County Cap, also claimed a five-wicket haul as the visitors were dismissed for 231 on the second day in Derby.
