HIGHLIGHTS: Derbyshire vs Worcestershire

Tuesday 7th May 2019
Written by Danny Painter

Luis Reece hit a career-best 128 and Wayne Madsen also hit a century, but Derbyshire lost to Worcestershire by four wickets in the final Royal London One-Day Cup group game at The Pattonair County Ground.

The 28-year-old opener combined well with Madsen in a club-record 222-run partnership for the second wicket against the Rapids, amassing his maiden List A ton in the process.

Despite posting 351-9, Derbyshire’s total was chased down thanks to an explosive 130 from just 62 balls by Riki Wessels and an unbeaten century from Callum Ferguson.
