Pre-Match Talk

Shiv Thakor says the side need to learn from coming out on the wrong end of results as Derbyshire go into their last Royal London One-Day Cup game against Worcestershire.

The all-rounder is currently the leading wicket-taker for Derbyshire in the one-day tournament with 12 wickets and has hit 220 runs up to now with a high score of 130 against Northants.

Thakor said: “Every time we go out were looking to win the game and tomorrow will be no different, it’s the last home game of the competition and the Sky cameras are here which is always nice. We don’t have them here often so when we do it’s a great time for everyone to showcase the Club and us as a team to put on a great show.”
