Experienced journalist Tanya Aldred will be guest speaker at the Derbyshire Cricket Society lunch event on Thursday 28 March.

Aldred is a well-respected and influential journalist in the sport, as she writes extensively on both domestic and international cricket for The Guardian.

As well as that, she is the joint-editor of The Wisden Cricket Quarterly, The Nightwatchman, and her 2005 book The Freddie Flintoff Story was also hugely successful.

Whilst she writes on a range of other sports, Tanya has also been a pioneer in highlighting the environmental impact of cricket, as well as the potential impact of climate change on the game.

She will speak at the final Derbyshire Cricket Society lunch event of 2018/19, held in the Kappture Legends Lounge on the top floor of the Air IT Elite Performance Centre.

The deadline for booking is Thursday 21 March.
