Derbyshire TV spoke to Shiv Thakor about his new three-year contract, that will see him at the Club until the end of the 2019 season.
The 22-year-old signed from Leicestershire at the end of the 2014 season, and has since become a crucial part of the Derbyshire setup in all forms of the game.
He took his first five-wicket-haul for Derbyshire earlier this season against Kent, and in the same game achieved his Derbyshire best with the bat of 130.
