Supporters can now vote for their Showcase Cinema de Lux Player of the Month for April.
Each month this season, supporters will be able to vote for their Player of the Month, in association with Showcase Cinema de Lux, via the Club’s official Twitter account.
Derbyshire competed in two Specsavers County Championship fixtures this month, with fixtures away at Gloucestershire and at home to Glamorgan. There was a number of standout individual performances, and the Club has shortlisted three nominations.
Wayne Madsen
In three innings, Madsen has scored 274 runs at an average of 137, including a top score of 150 versus Gloucestershire. He followed this up with 97 against Glamorgan at Derby.
Chesney Hughes
Hughes started the campaign with a standout performance at Bristol, hitting 96 in the first innings before backing this up with an unbeaten 137 in the second. In total, he’s scored 252 runs at an average of 126.
Tony Palladino
Palladino has made one Specsavers County Championship appearance this year, against Glamorgan, and made an immediate impact claiming his 12th career first-class five-wicket haul – his 10th for Derbyshire.
