Harry Came’s century couldn’t prevent Derbyshire from defeat in the Second XI Championship fixture against Yorkshire at Queen’s Park.
Came followed up a top-scoring 89 in the first innings with 117 in the second, as Derbyshire set the visitors a target of 326 to win at Chesterfield, but Tom Loten’s unbeaten 88 on the final afternoon saw Yorkshire to victory.
With the ball, seamer Nick Potts and spinner Mattie McKiernan each took five wickets in match, while wicketkeeper-batter, Harry Caton, scored a first innings half-century.
