The BRM Solicitors Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, concludes with the Vitality Blast opener against Yorkshire Vikings.

The week-long festival enters its finale on Saturday 20 July, as local rivals Derbyshire Falcons and Yorkshire Vikings go head-to-head in front of a third successive SOLD OUT crowd.

All available tickets for this match have been sold. Please do not travel to the ground if you do not have a matchday ticket.

Ticket Information

Tickets for Yorkshire Vikings local derby have SOLD OUT. No tickets will be available to buy on the day. Please do not travel to Queen’s Park if you do not have a matchday ticket.

Scanners: Please retain your match ticket at all times as this will be required to exit and re-enter the ground. All tickets will be scanned by gate stewards.

Ticket Collection: Any tickets requiring collection must be collected from the Ticket Collection Point via the main entrance. Please bring ID and email confirmation.

Members’ Refundable Deposit
All Members who claimed a ticket with a refundable £10 deposit AND then attend the fixture will be able to reclaim their deposit on the matchday.

This can be done on the day (gates open 12.30pm and close approx. one hour after the close) at the Gazebo by the Club Shop via the main entrance.

Members can also claim their refund in person at The Pattonair County Ground until the 1st September 2019 cut-off.

Ground Access

The Club is encouraging supporters to plan their journeys in advance and give plenty of time to enter the ground, in particular for the Vitality Blast match versus Yorkshire. Thank you for your co-operation.

Supporters will be able to access the ground via the main entrance off Boythorpe Avenue adjacent to the on-site car park, while walk-in gates will be located off Park Road and via the entrance at the pond end.

Seating will be available around the ground, but supporters are allowed to bring their own seating if they wish.

Any tickets requiring collection must be collected from the Ticket Collection Point via the main entrance. Please bring a form of ID.

Dogs are NOT allowed in for the Vitality Blast match versus Yorkshire Vikings.

Roadworks: The club has been notified of Severn Trent works taking place on the corner of Park Road and Boythorpe Avenue, with temporary traffic lights in operation. We advise all spectators to take note of the map below and plan their journey in advance to allow for any disruption.

Parking

ALL parking on the day will be on a first come, first served basis. Please see below for full details on parking ahead of the fixture.

Car Parking: £5 per vehicle

Derbyshire 2019 Car Park Passes remain valid at Chesterfield, while hospitality guests will be able to park on-site at Queen’s Park, via the main entrance off Boythorpe Avenue. However, we advise you arrive early to guarantee your space and avoid queues.

While the Club will always try to accommodate all vehicles visiting the ground, admittance for ALL will be on a first come, first served basis. We ask that all visitors try and schedule their arrival at the ground, allowing plenty of time.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is advising spectators who do not have a 2019 Car Park Pass or a hospitality booking to park in the town centre and enter the ground via the Lake End entrance. Details of public parking can be found below.

Public Parking

Additional public parking is available at:

  • Holywell Cross pay and display car park; S40 1UT
  • New Beetwell Street multi-storey car park; S40 1QP
  • Pay and display sites – North and South either side of the ground; S40 2ND.
  • Small Queen’s Park annex car park at Boythorpe Avenue / Park Road; S40 2QE. This is a pay and display car park.

Please do not park at Queen’s Park Sports Centre, this is reserved for sports centre users.

We encourage all supporters to plan their arrival at the ground, allowing plenty of time. Thank you for your co-operation.

Food & Drink

Food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, will be available from a range of outlets located around the ground. Take time on the day to look around at the different food and drink options on offer.

With a capacity crowd expected for the Yorkshire Vikings match, additional bars and catering units have been secured for this fixture.

Please note that supporters are not allowed to bring alcohol into the ground. Only plastic bottles will be allowed into the ground and routine bag searches will be in operation.


Retail

Our Club Shop, stocked with a new range of items, will be located in the conservatory by the main entrance to the ground, off Boythorpe Avenue. The shop will offer a range of Derbyshire merchandise, replica kits, clothing, scorecards, programmes and match souvenirs.
