Fynn Hudson-Prentice took 2-39 for Lancaster Park CC in their victory over St Albans in New Zealand.

The all-rounder has returned to New Zealand, where he has regularly played during the winter months, and struck twice in nine overs as his side claimed a six-wicket victory in the Designer Homes Premiership One-Day Cup.

Hudson-Prentice also managed ten with the bat in the win, which saw Lancaster Park chase down 186 in less than 44 overs.

Fellow all-rounder Mattie McKiernan featured for South Hobart Sandy Bay CC in their eight-wicket victory over Clarence CC in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League.

McKiernan did not bat or bowl but did take a catch as Clarence were restricted to 146 from 45.1 overs at the Kangaroo Bay Oval.

South Hobart took less than 25 overs to reach the target, with captain Sean Willis hitting an unbeaten 57 from 50 deliveries as his side secured victory.

Luis Reece will join up with Gosnells Cricket Club this week, where he will take up the roles of captain and Assistant Head Coach. The all-rounder has just enjoyed his best season in a Derbyshire shirt and will be looking to continue that form in Australia.

Matt Critchley is also heading down under, where he will play for Fairfield Liverpool over the winter. He claimed 17 wickets in Derbyshire’s 2019 Vitality Blast campaign, as well as hitting three half-centuries in the Specsavers County Championship.
