Chesterfield-born Hosein graduated through the Derbyshire Academy in partnership with the University of Derby and made one of the most remarkable debuts in the history of the game.
He made an immediate impact with 11 catches in the match, a Derbyshire record. Hosein has now played 74 all formats matches for Derbyshire scoring 2,359 runs and completing 145 dismissals.
He made his maiden hundred against Worcestershire at Worcester in 2016 and another against Leeds Bradford MCCU in 2019. He’s also scored 16 fifties.
