An international cricketer with 123 appearances for the West Indies at Test, ODI and Twenty20 levels, Rampaul joined Derbyshire at the start of the 2018 season.
He has taken 120 wickets across all three formats for the county, including 23 in the Twenty20 campaign in 2019. That tally was a new record for Derbyshire, and he ended the summer as the leading T20 wicket-taker in the country, playing a significant role in the county reaching Finals Day for the first time. In all forms of the game, he took 80 wickets in 2019.
His best bowling figures for Derbyshire are 5-48 v Yorkshire in a List A game at Derby in 2018, while he also took 5 wickets in an innings in first class matches against Durham and Glamorgan in 2019.
