General FAQs

Will spectators be able to attend in the 2021 season?

The safe return of spectators to live cricket in 2021 is the number one priority of everyone associated with the game.

Government announcements indicate that spectators will be able to return in restricted capacity from Monday 17 May, before restrictions are set to be lifted from Monday 21 June.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is working closely with the ECB and the Government to adhere to the latest guidelines regarding the safe return of supporters to watch live cricket in Derbyshire.
Who will get priority while there reduced capacity?

The latest guidelines indicate that supporters will be able to return in restricted numbers from Monday 17 May, with full capacity resuming from Monday 21 June.

During the initial period, Members will be given priority entry to all home fixtures, with Blast Pass holders also getting access to early Vitality Blast fixtures.

Supporters who have deferred or donated their 2020 Vitality Blast tickets will be contacted regarding their options for 2021.

In the event of restricted capacities, priority access for entry will take the following order: Members, Blast Pass holders, ticket buyers (ticket buyers by date of purchase, with the earliest purchases being priority).
What measures are in place to keep me safe at The Incora County Ground and Queen’s Park?

We are working hard to make the return of supporters to live cricket a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

There will be a number of enhanced safety measures in place ahead of your visit and our new Matchday Guides will be available to all supporters before their visit.

The Incora County Ground was awarded the Visit Britain ‘We’re Good To Go’ COVID-19 consumer mark and industry standard. As a host venue for bio-secure international cricket in 2020, we are experienced in providing a safe environment for all visitors and we look forward to welcoming our supporters back to live cricket.

Is Membership for me?

2021 Membership is the best way to ensure priority access to all home cricket during the 2021 season.

If you enjoy all formats of cricket and want priority entry to all home matches in 2021, then Membership represents great value at just £199 for Adults, £55 for Students and £20 for Juniors.

Backed by our new Membership Guarantee, you can rest assured that your decision to purchase Membership for the 2021 season is a secure one.

As a Derbyshire Member, will I have to book a ticket in 2021?

Members will be required to reserve a Members’ ticket for all home Vitality Blast fixtures to ensure that the club can accommodate as many supporters as possible.

Members will not need to reserve tickets for LV= County Championship and Royal London Cup fixtures.

Full details will be communicated to Members in their Membership Packs.
As a Derbyshire Member, can I purchase additional tickets for friends or family?

As a Derbyshire Member, you will have priority access to tickets to watch home cricket in 2021.

Any additional tickets can be purchased once they go on general sale, with capacity restrictions set to be lifted from Monday 21 June.

Members will receive information on how to book their free Members’ ticket and any subsequent tickets for Vitality Blast fixtures as part of the renewal packs.
I purchased a Car Park Pass for the 2020 season, will I be able to use this in 2021?

All non-refunded 2020 Car Park Passes will be carried over to the 2021 season at no extra cost.

These will be sent in your Membership Renewal Pack.
When will I receive my Membership pack?

Membership packs will be sent out in late March an early April, prior to the return of spectators.

Packs will contain the latest information safety information, your Membership Card(s), Car Park passes (where applicable) and details of how to reserve your Members’ ticket for Vitality Blast matches.

T20 Tickets and Blast Pass FAQs

Who will get priority entry if capacity is restricted?

In the event of restricted capacities, priority access for entry will take the following order: Members, Blast Pass holders, ticket buyers (ticket buyers by date of purchase, with the earliest purchases being priority).
What is your refund policy?

Backed by our new Match Ticket Guarantee, Vitality Blast ticket buyers will be safeguarded in the event that supporters cannot attend live cricket in 2021.

How many tickets can I purchase?

While capacity restrictions are in place, the number of tickets that you can purchase will be determined by the latest restrictions.

Providing that restrictions are lifted from Monday 21 June, supporters will be able to purchase tickets in greater numbers.
Will a Blast Pass give me priority to Twenty20 fixtures?

Yes, Blast Pass holders will be given priority access to all home Vitality Blast group stage fixtures, including the East Midlands Derby against Notts Outlaws and the huge clash with Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.
I donated/deferred my 2020 tickets for a Vitality Blast fixture, will I be able to attend in 2021?

All donated/deferred ticket holders will be given the opportunity to register for their chosen fixture in 2021.

The club will contact you via the email address used at the time of purchase to notify you of the process for reserving your tickets.

Matchday Experience FAQs

What changes will have been made to the matchday experience since my last visit?

We can’t wait to welcome our supporters back to live cricket in Derbyshire.

We’re working hard to ensure your return to The Incora County Ground is a safe and enjoyable experience. It is likely that our matchday experience will be slightly different to the last time you visited us and we ask all supporters to respect the necessary procedures in place to keep everyone safe.

The latest information will be provided in Matchday Guides ahead of each fixture.
Can I choose my seat?

In the event of restricted capacities and social distancing requirements remaining in place when crowds return, supporters will be required to sit in unreserved social bubbles, as indicated by ‘✓’ and ‘✕’ symbols on seats. Stewards will be on-hand to direct spectators.

Should capacity restrictions be lifted, The Incora County Ground will carry its familiar ground layout of unallocated seating and free standing areas.

Supporters will not be required to select seats prior to visiting The Incora County Ground.
Can I purchase my tickets at the ground?

Should the season be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, Members will remain our priority for entry throughout the season. Should coronavirus restrictions remain in place and matches take place behind closed doors, Members will have a number of options open to them, including donate, defer or refund, dependant on the circumstances.

The health and safety of all visitors remains our first priority. Ahead of 2021 season, we will provide updates on health and safety measures via our website and email.
