The official partners of Derbyshire Women’s cricket are stainless steel specialists Briggs of Burton, who have also manufactured the landmark set of giant stumps which signifies the bid for Derby to be a host city for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2017.
Derbyshire’s Women were crowned ECB Women’s County Championship Division Three champions in 2016, securing promotion to Division Two. The triumph completed a double-promotion winning year for Derbyshire after they also sealed their place in County Championship T20 Second Division in 2017.
