Chesterfield Festival of Cricket

The BRM Solicitors Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, will return to Queen’s Park in 2020.

The picturesque ground will again play host to traditional County Championship cricket, as well as vibrant Vitality Blast action over the festival period.

Derbyshire will begin the festival with a four-day fixture against Worcestershire, starting on Sunday 14 June, before hosting Yorkshire Vikings in Twenty action on Saturday 20 June, starting at 2:30pm.

The Vitality Blast encounter has been staged at Queen’s Park for the last three seasons, with Derbyshire winning each time. A record number of tickets were sold during the club’s priority window, so buy now to secure your place.

The Falcons will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run in 2020, as they bid to reach Finals Day for the second-consecutive season.

The festival will conclude on a musical note, with the stars of London’s West End performing An Evening of ABBA on Sunday 21 June, with doors opening at 5pm for a 7pm start.

An Evening of ABBA

Stars from London’s West End head to Chesterfield on Sunday 21 June for an amazing outdoor concert of ABBA’s greatest hits.

The star-studded cast will perform An Evening of ABBA to round off the popular Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, and are set to wow new audiences following sold-out events in 2018 and 2019 in Derby.
