Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s popular Fireworks Night and Fun Fair will return to The Incora County Ground on Friday 4th November as we light up the sky over Derbyshire once again.

Derby’s biggest Fireworks Night is back on Friday 4 November, with adrenaline-fuelled thrill rides and classic Bonfire Night food, all followed by our biggest and best display ever, complete with a brand-new laser show!

With a new and improved experience, including an exclusive feel and limited availability, this is an event not to be missed this November!

Enjoy an array of mouth-watering savoury snacks and sweet treats – there’s something for everyone at The Incora County Ground.


Plus, we’ve teamed-up with Gem to entertain you throughout the evening with the biggest hits and the biggest throwbacks playing across our new in-ground screen.

This year’s premium event will include not only a huge fun fair and the biggest fireworks display in Derby, but also an exciting laser show which will light up the skies across Derbyshire.

The ever-popular Fireworks Night & Fun Fair event will be run with a revised capacity in 2022, based on customer feedback from previous years to give an improved experience.

Premier Upgrade guests will be located in the Incora Pavilion, offering elevated views of the fireworks, while enjoying the delicious locally-sourced food, cooked by our in-house chefs, and a private bar facility.

All Premier Upgrade packages have now sold out.

All official on-site car parking, including Accessibility Parking, has now sold out. No parking will be available to purchase on the night.

Derbyshire have introduced a Disability Liaison Officer as part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to making cricket in The Incora County Ground accessible to all.

Derbyshire Disability Liaison Officer, Lily Smith, will be based in the Incora Pavilion to advise and assist supporters with any needs they may have.

The Club have also launched Disabled Supporter Information Page, which will act as a hub for all information which disabled supporters will need ahead of a visit to Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

What time do the gates open?
Gates open from 4pm, with plenty to see and do around The Incora County Ground prior to the start of the fireworks display, including the popular Fun Fair. The ground will close at 9.30pm.
What time do the fireworks start?
The fireworks display is scheduled to start after 7pm (subject to change).
Will I need to bring cash?
The Incora County Ground is a cashless venue meaning that all ticket entry gates will be card/contactless payment only.

All Fun Fair rides and food units, which are operated by an outside company, are cash only and there are no cash machines on site at The Incora County Ground. The nearest cash machine is located at the Texaco Garage off Pentagon Island.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club advises all visitors to bring cash and cashless methods of payment on the night.
Is there seating available and can I bring my own camping chair?
A limited amount of unreserved seating will be available in the main Seat Unique Falcons Stand directly opposite the fireworks location, to the back of the venue. Visitors are advised to arrive early should they wish to secure a seat. Camping chairs, picnic blankets etc are not permitted for this event.
What time does the Fun Fair open and close?
The Fun Fair will be open from 4pm and will close at 9.30pm.
What happens if it rains?
The display can go ahead in rain, however strict regulations are in place for extreme weather and high winds. In instances of extreme weather, checks will be made on the night before a decision can be made.

Are sparklers allowed?
Fireworks and sparklers are not permitted to be brought into the venue.
Are dogs allowed in to the ground?
Dogs will not be allowed into the ground for this event.
Will there be music?
Gem will be entertaining the crowd with a great music playlist from 4pm until the fireworks begin.
What time does the ground close?
The Incora County Ground will close at 9.30pm.
Kids go free under what age?
Children under the age of 5 will be granted admission to the event free-of charge. Junior tickets are priced at £3 in advance and apply to 6-15 year olds.
