Applications for Boys Open Trials from U11 to U18’s are now open.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club is committed to eliminating barriers and making the game more accessible to all and as such, we are pleased to now offer our Open Trials programme as an additional entry point to the Club’s Pathway. This is aimed at, but not limited to, all players of non-traditional forms of the game, such as tape ball, cage cricket or indoor cricket.
To begin the open trials process, players are asked to submit video content and contact details to Derbyshire County Cricket Club for review by our coaches, that demonstrate your skills in your respective role(s) as a batter, bowler or wicketkeeper.
Entries can be submitted from now and until Friday 13 October 2023.

Videos will be assessed by our full-time, ECB Level 3 and 4 coaches. Successful applicants will be invited to an additional in-person observation session at Derbyshire County Cricket Club approximately two weeks after the application process closes.
All applications will be responded to, both successful and unsuccessful.
