The Cricket Derbyshire Bookshop has raised over £3,000 so far in 2015, thanks to the support of volunteers and the generosity of Members and supporters.

The Bookshop is run by a team of volunteers, led by Phil Kirby, with all proceeds going towards the development of young players and helping to fund for summer contracts for Cricket Derbyshire Academy in partnership with the University of Derby graduates.

This year, summer contracts were given to three bowlers in Will Davis, Harry White and Adam Wheatcroft, with Davis and White making their first-class debuts against Australia last month in the Bell & Co Tourist Fixture.

Following recent success, the Cricket Derbyshire Bookshop are requesting further donations over the remainder of the season to help replenish stock that has been popular over the course of 2015.

All items of cricket memorabilia will be gratefully received by the Club and anybody wishing to donate can do so by visiting reception in The 3aaa Pavilion with their donation.

The Cricket Derbyshire Bookshop will be open for supporters to visit during lunch and tea intervals in LV= County Championship matches. It will also be open half an hour before the start of Royal London One-Day Cup fixtures, as well as during the innings break.

Derbyshire Falcons are back in home action on Tuesday 18 August when they take on Worcestershire in the Royal London One-Day Cup. Buy in advance and save £4!
