A stage play about the tragic decline of former England and Northamptonshire batsman Colin Milburn will be staged at The 3aaa County Ground on Wednesday 9 November.
‘When The Eye Has Gone’ will take place in the Pattonair Lounge in the 3aaa Pavilion and entry is charged at just £10 for adults and £8 for concessions.
The play has been commissioned by the Professional Cricketers’ Association as part of its Mind Matters campaign with the support of the Arts Council England and is touring cricket clubs in the UK during November.

The play was written by the award-winning playwright Dougie Blaxland, the pseudonym of former Derbyshire all-rounder, James Graham-Brown, who is likely to be back at his old club on the night.
The production is a collaboration between the Professional Cricketers’ Association, Roughhouse Theatre and Live Wire Theatre.
