Falcons vs Jets: Matchday Guide

Derbyshire Falcons host Durham Jets in the county’s penultimate home NatWest T20 Blast group fixture in 2017, on Tuesday 15 August; 6.30pm start.

Before the Falcons take on the Jets, the Loughborough Lightning, featuring Australia star all-rounder Ellyse Perry, take on Southern Vipers in the Kia Super League, starting at 2.30pm.

It’s a full day of cricket action at The 3aaa County Ground and supporters can watch both games for just £10 as part of our Summer Special Offer. Buy your tickets today.

Both games are being shown live on Sky Sports Cricket and supporters at the ground will be able to enjoy an enhanced experience with a big screen and pyrotechnics throughout the night.

Ticket Information

Tickets will be available on the gate, which open at 1pm. Tickets are valid for both games and are available for just £10. The Club encourages supporters to plan their journey in advance and give plenty of time to arrive at the ground.

Tickets available on the gate: Adults £10, Juniors £3, Students £10
Car Parking on the day: £5 (£4 in advance)

Programmes and scorecards are available to buy from the gazebo located by the main 3aaa Pavilion entrance and from the Club Shop.

If you are collecting on the night, please note the Ticket Collection Point will be located in the run-through area via the back of the Tea Room. See map below.


Ground Access & Parking

Please note for NatWest T20 Blast fixtures that a one-way system will be in place from the Pentagon Roundabout entrance to Sir Frank Whittle Road exit. Cars will not be able to access the road outside the ground via Sir Frank Whittle Road.

Ground Access: Entry to the ground will be available via the 3aaa Pavilion entrance, off Pentagon Roundabout. Gates open at 1pm.

Please note that there will be additional security checks at the gate, so please give plenty of time to enter the ground.

Parking: Additional parking has been secured for the remaining NatWest T20 Blast fixtures at The 3aaa County Ground this summer.

Parking will be available on site in the 3aaa Pavilion car park and adjacent overflow area, and in the Frank Whittle Road car park. This will be open from 12.30pm.

Parking will also be available on the grassed area on the Racecourse, located directly behind the ground. This car park can be accessed off St Mark’s Road, via an entrance next to Derwent Community Primary School. Postcode for this car park is DE21 6AL. This will be open from 5pm.

Disabled parking spaces are available in the 3aaa Pavilion car park.

While the Club will always try to accommodate all vehicles visiting the ground, admittance will be on a first come, first served basis. Please plan your journey in advance and arrive early guarantee your on-site matchday parking.

Seats and viewing: Following the completion of the OKI Business & Media Centre, spectators will this summer be able to walk fully around the ground. Indoor seating is available for all visitors in the Pattonair Lounge in the 3aaa Pavilion.

Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Stand: The Club’s new Family Stand is located in the new seating adjacent to the OKI Business & Media Centre. Catering and toilets will be located behind the stand.

The Club’s new Family Zone, featuring inflatables and cricket activities, will also be located directly behind this stand.

Food and Drink

There will be more food and drink units than ever before at NatWest T20 Blast games this summer.

Extra bars will be brought in and will be located around the ground, while more catering units will also be available offering even more variety. Please be advised that supporters are not permitted to bring alcohol into the ground.

Drink will also will be available from the Pattonair Lounge in the 3aaa Pavilion.


Family Entertainment

Come down from when the gates open to enjoy our new Family Zone, located behind the Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Stand adjacent to the OKI Business & Media Centre.

There will be a variety of FREE activities for all, including inflatables and giant garden games, to name a few.

Put your skills into action with our cricket play zones. Take part in a variety of cricket skill-based games within view of the action, with help from a qualified coach to hand you tips and tricks in the challenge.

There will also be a giant inflatable and other activities on offer.

Don’t forget to grab your FREE giveaways, including the return of the hairy headbands, plus grab a photo next to our new giant inflatable helmet. Then stick around immediately after the game when the Derbyshire players will be available to sign a few autographs over the boundary fence or pose for a selfie.
