Son of Derbyshire legend Dominic Cork, Greg was handed his first-team debut in the NatWest T20 Blast fixture at Durham, which was shown live on Sky Sports.

Cork scored his first half-century for the second team in June 2014, scoring 50 at Glamorgan before notching his first century in the Second XI game against Warwickshire at The 3aaa County Ground.

After a good-run in the Second XI, Cork made his senior debut against Durham in the NatWest T20 Blast at Emirates Durham ICG in June 2014.

Cork was part of the Second XI side that clinched the Second XI Trophy versus Durham in 2015, and also made his List-A debut versus Somerset whilst continuing to feature in the NatWest T20 Blast team.
