Derbyshire signed all-rounder Tom Milnes from Warwickshire in September 2015 on a two-year deal.

Milnes, who has featured in 15 first-class fixtures claiming 26 wickets including career-best figures of 7-39, signed a one-year contract extension in early 2017 to keep him at the Club until the end of 2018.

The 23-year-old first appeared for Derbyshire in July 2015 when on loan from Warwickshire and made his first-class debut for the Club in the County Championship fixture versus Surrey at the Kia Oval at the start of September.

He featured in five fixtures for the Second XI, claiming 22 wickets at an average of 14, and he was part of the side that won the Second XI One-Day Trophy at Chester-le-Street that summer.

His breakthrough into the First XI came when he took three wickets against Leicestershire in the County Championship in 2016, and then took his first five-wicket-haul for Derbyshire against Essex, taking 6-93.
