The Club will be hosting an exclusive dinner with South Africa Test Captain Hashim Amla on Thursday 28 May, with proceeds going to the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1155801).
The event will take place in the Baytree Cars Executive Lounge at The 3aaa Pavilion and has been arranged with the support of PAK Foods.
Starting at 7pm, a limited audience of 48 guests will enjoy a reception with Hashim, who is currently ranked as the number three Test and ODI batsman in the world, followed by a hosted Q&A session and three-course meal prepared and served by renowned local Indian restaurant, Anoki.
Tickets to the event also includes five complimentary tickets to Derbyshire Falcons’ opening home NatWest T20 Blast fixture versus Lancashire Lightning on Friday 29 May; 7pm start – your opportunity to see Amla in Twenty20 action in Derby.
Chris Durham, project coordinator for Cricket Derbyshire Foundation, said: “This is a unique opportunity to meet, chat and share a meal with South Africa Test Captain Hashim.
“All proceeds raised will be used for cricket-related programmes in the county with a special focus on community cohesion in the areas that are most in need.”
