Ben Slater recorded his second century of the match as Derbyshire Second XI defeated Worcestershire by seven wickets in the Championship match at Worcestershire Grammar School.
Worcestershire resumed on 145-2 and reached 189-3 before declaring, with Greg Cork removing Alexei Kervezee for the second time in the match as Derbyshire were set 251 runs to win on the final day.
Derbyshire attacked from the off in pursuit of quick runs with Slater ably backed up by useful contributions from Jonathan Clare (41), Scott Elstone (27) and Ryan Brown (24).
But it was Slater, who had struck a majestic 118 in the first innings, again in excellent form as he hit 123 from 130 balls, including 12 fours and three sixes, to all but seal victory but he was eventually bowled by Ben Twohig.
Tom Poynton was at the crease at the end to hit the winning runs as Derbyshire reached 251-4 in just 43.2 overs.
