Elite Performance Director Graeme Welch is happy with the progress made during the first two months of pre-season and says the players will, after a short break, be ready to hit the ground running in the New Year.

Welch also discussed the 2016 fixtures, the impact New Zealand duo Hamish Rutherford and Neil Broom can have next summer and his thoughts on the season opener against Gloucestershire at Bristol.
