Hamish Rutherford hit a List A career-best 126 off just 90 balls as Otago claimed a dominant 221-run victory versus Wellington in the Ford Trophy on Wednesday.
Otago racked up 362-8 off their 50 overs, and Captain Rutherford was the standout performer smashing seven sixes and ten fours to compile his fourth List A hundred and the highest of his career.
His hundred means Rutherford is now the fourth highest run scorer in the Ford Trophy this season, with 326 runs at an average of 55.
