VIDEO: Durston on one-day hopes in 2016

Written by Danny Painter

Derbyshire one-day Captain, Wes Durston, says the squad will learn lessons from last year’s white ball campaigns as the Club strives for further progression in 2016.

The county narrowly missed out on the quarter-finals of the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2015, while the Falcons enjoyed an improved NatWest T20 Blast campaign.

Durston believes progression has been made in the white ball competitions and insists the additions of New Zealand international duo Hamish Rutherford and Neil Broom, who have both been in exceptional form this winter, will also offer experience and consistency to the county’s top-order this summer.
