Every ball of Derbyshire’s 2016 campaign will be broadcast live on BBC Radio Derby for the fourth successive season.

The BBC will cover a total of more than 350 games across the whole of county cricket, in partnership with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), with  live commentary from the Specsavers County Championship, NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup.

The BBC’s Head of Sport for English Regions, Charles Runcie, says: “We’re proud to deliver every ball from every first class county cricket match for the fourth year in a row. Getting audiences to the heart of the sporting action is a vital service that the BBC’s local radio network continues to provide to cricket fans across the counties.

“Listeners can be certain that our team of BBC reporters and commentators will continue to travel the length and breadth of England and Wales to bring you the latest coverage of your county.”
