Only 1,500 tickets remain for Derbyshire Falcons’ opening home NatWest T20 Blast fixture versus Leicestershire Foxes on Friday 3 June ; 7pm start.
Demand for the fixture has been high, with many supporters taking advantage of the discounted advanced ticket price and making savings of 20% compared to the on-the-day price.
The Club has also been running a promotion with Derby County Football Club for the match on the back of the excitement surrounding the Rams play-off ties this week.
With a capacity crowd expected, the Club will be providing extra bar, refreshment and toilet facilities on the night, while additional car parking has also been secured to ensure all supporters have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable evening with us.
One-Day Captain, Wes Durston, is looking forward to the new campaign and believes the squad will give the home crowd plenty to cheer about. He said: “We want to build on the improvements that we made last year and from the year before.
“We are confident that we can make that improvement. Everybody is a year older and more experienced. I know that we are going to be competitive with the squad that we have.
“I think the three New Zealanders we have signed will help us massively in terms of getting over the line in those tight fixtures.
“If you look at Rutherford, Broom and Neesham, you have three guys there with international experience. They are talented players and we’re looking forward to watching the guys contributing to performances this season.”
