Derbyshire Second XI’s two Second XI Twenty20 fixtures scheduled for Monday 13 June versus Durham at the Emirates Riverside ICG were abandoned due to heavy rain.

The start to the first match was delayed before the persisting rain called for it to be cancelled entirely. The second match was also abandoned shortly after.

The Seconds stay top of the North Division of the Second XI Twenty20 competition, having secured seven victories in addition to today’s two washouts from their 12 fixtures up to now.

The two sides will try again on Tuesday 14 June when they are scheduled to begin a Second XI Championship fixture at Darlington CC.

The Falcons face the Bears in the NatWest T20 Blast this Friday 17 June at The 3aaa County Ground and supporters can book their tickets in advance and save 20%.
