Queen’s Park, Chesterfield and The Custom Solar Festival of Cricket is the venue for Derbyshire versus Northamptonshire in the Specsavers County Championship.

Shiv Thakor makes his way into the top ten of the current PCA MVP rankings, the all-rounder is joint fifth on 220 points after scoring 123 runs against Kent in mid-week.

There has been 24 double centuries in first-class cricket at Queen’s Park, the first instance recorded was in 1898 when a Yorkshire opening partnership put together 543; John Brown (300) and John Tunnicliffe (243).
