Harvey Hosein, Ben Cotton and Will Davis return from injury and are named in Derbyshire’s 13-man squad to face Gloucestershire at The 3aaa County Ground.
Hosein, who has been unavailable since the end of July with a broken finger, returns to take over the gloves from Alex Mellor, who has returned to Warwickshire following the conclusion of his loan spell.
Pacemen Cotton and Davis are also in contention to make their first Specsavers County Championship appearances since mid-July.
Charlie Macdonell retains his place in the squad after promising knocks with the bat, and Tom Milnes will look to continue his good form with the ball after taking 11 wickets in his last two outings, including best figures for Derbyshire of 6-93 in the game with Essex.
