John Sadler has left Derbyshire by mutual consent.

Sadler joined the Club in January 2014 and played an integral part in the development and progress of a number of players during his time at the Club.

In June 2016, he took over as Head Coach and led the coaching team and playing squad throughout the remainder of the season.

However, following the introduction of a new coaching model, Sadler now wishes to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Cricket Advisory Director, Kevin Dean said: “John is an accomplished coach who helped a number of players make significant progress during his time at Derbyshire.

“He played a leading role in the management team and we would like to thank John for his tireless work, especially since taking over as Head Coach and providing a stable base for our players to learn and improve. We wish him well in his future coaching endeavours.”
