Over 10,000 people attended Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s first Fireworks Night & Fun Fair spectacular at The 3aaa County Ground on Saturday night.

Following talks with Derby City Council, the Club stepped in the host the city’s major fireworks and community event, in partnership with Pattonair – the leading aerospace and defence supply chain service provider.

The Club received an overwhelming response from the local community with 10,500 people purchasing their tickets for the fun-filled family event.

The large crowd was entertained with a stunning fireworks display, the biggest in Derby this year, after a night of entertainment from Capital Breakfast’s Dino & Pete. The breakfast show hosts interacted with visitors, ran competitions using our big screen and counted down to the big display.

Guests were also able to enjoy our large fun fair, with rides for all the family, plus the various catering outlets around the ground. The Club now hopes to make the fireworks at The 3aaa County Ground an annual event in the city’s calendar.
