Pakistan Women and Sri Lanka Women have clinched the final two places for this summer’s ICC Women’s World Cup in England.
Bangladesh, the only other team still in contention, lost to Sri Lanka by 42 runs in their rain-affected final game of the World Cup Qualifier in Colombo.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka join India and South Africa as the top four teams from the Super Six phase and join hosts England, plus Australia, New Zealand and West Indies at this summer’s competition.
It is the first time since 1993 that England have hosted the tournament, which starts on 24 June in Derby live on TV. The competition will be played in a round-robin format, with Derby hosting eight games in total including a semi final on Thursday 20 July.
Tickets for all fixtures at the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 go on sale on Wednesday 8 March via the ICC tickets website. Semi final tickets are on sale now.
