The Club has been made aware of Sir Elton John’s recent illness. During his successful tour of South America, Elton contracted a harmful and unusual bacterial infection.
He is now comfortably resting at home and is expected to make a full and complete recovery.
Elton will be returning to his schedule of live performances in the UK on Saturday 3 June at Twickenham, before performing live at The 3aaa County Ground on Sunday 4 June.
The Club would like to send Elton their best wishes and we look forward to welcoming him and his band to Derby on Sunday 4 June.
