Additional tickets released for World Cup opener

Additional tickets have been released for the ICC Women’s World Cup opener between England versus India on Saturday 24 June – and they are on sale now.

On Tuesday morning, the ICC released a limited number of tickets for the opener and these sold out within 48 hours.

Additional tickets have now be released for the eagerly-awaited fixture featuring hosts England – and these are also expected to go quickly.

Tickets are also very limited for the second England fixture at Derby, versus New Zealand on Wednesday 12 July. Buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Derby will host eight games in total, including India vs Pakistan, England vs New Zealand and the second Semi Final, and tickets for all are on sale via the ICC tickets website.

India will feature in four games at Derby, including the much anticipated clash with their closest rivals Pakistan on Sunday 2 July.While the highly fancied New Zealand side will compete in three games, including a big fixture versus England on Wednesday 12 July.

Derby will host the second Semi Final on Thursday 20 July, with the winner advancing to the final at Lord’s on Sunday 23 July.

Prices start at £10 for adults, £5 for students (aged between 17 and 23) and £2 for under-16s. Tickets are on sale via: icc-cricket.com/tickets.
