Cricket Derbyshire’s popular Family Fun Day, where youngsters can meet the Derbyshire players, is set to be another fun-filled day – taking place on Saturday 17 June; 10am to 1pm.
The annual FREE family event will once again offer the opportunity for young supporters to meet the Derbyshire first-team squad and enjoy a range of great family entertainment on offer.
The 3aaa County Ground will host an enjoyable day for the entire family, which will include fun cricket activities and special coaching clinics with Derbyshire players.
Family activities on the day will include an inflatable assault course, shoot for goal inflatable, giant games, table football and air hockey – all FREE to enjoy.
Qualified coaches, and first team players, will be on hand to lead a number of cricket activities in the indoor cricket hall. These will include small batting, bowling and catching activities, as you get a chance to test your skills – and ask the pros for any tips.
Refreshments will also be available on the day, while Freddie the Falcons will also be around meeting visitors – and he might even take part in a few of the day’s activities too.
The Club has a limited number of FREE mini autograph bats to giveaway at our Family Fun Day.
To get your mini bat, simply go to our Derbyshire gazebo, by the Elite Performance Centre entrance, and fill in a small form for your NatWest T20 Blast tickets.
We only have a limited number of mini bats available, so make sure you arrive early to get yours. Gates open at 10am.
All under-16s attending our Family Fun Day will also receive two FREE tickets to the opening NatWest T20 Blast fixture at Derby this summer, against Lancashire Lightning on Tuesday 25 July; 7pm start.
