In a dress rehearsal for the first match of the tournament – to be played in front of an expected sell-out crowd at Derby – England batted first and made 244 all out from their 50 overs.
Nat Sciver again impressed with the bat making 69, while opener Lauren Winfield scored 50 before being run out. In reply, India were dismissed for 103.
