Derbyshire Falcons will begin their preparations for the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast with a Twenty20 friendly versus a Kevin Dean Invitational XI at Alvaston & Boulton CC on Thursday 22 June.
The fixture, which starts at 5pm, will be the Falcons’ first Twenty20 fixture this summer as newly arrived Twenty20 Specialist Coach John Wright gets his first chance to watch his side in action.
Derbyshire’s opponents will be a Kevin Dean Invitational XI which will include three former players in Kevin Dean, Garry Park and Dan Birch, all of whom have Twenty20 experience at county level.
Entry is FREE and refreshments will be available on the night.
