Business communication specialists A1 Comms has agreed to sponsor Cricket Derbyshire Foundation’s T20:20:20 Walkathon from Derby to Nottingham on Friday 21 July.
The independent unified communication specialists, who deliver bespoke packages to provide the best coverage in the UK, have thrown their support behind the fundraising and social event.
Fundraisers will walk the 20 miles from The 3aaa County Ground, Derby, to Trent Bridge, Nottingham, in time for the big Twenty20 fixture between Notts Outlaws and Derbyshire Falcons.
All walkers will receive one adult ticket to the match at Trent Bridge, plus a walkathon t-shirt and medal, an event pack and a coach back to Derby after the match.
The walk, taking place tomorrow, is an excellent opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the diverse work carried out by the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation, who provide a range of community projects to benefit health, education and social inclusion across Derbyshire.
A1 Comms said: “All the best to everyone taking part in the T20:20:20 sponsored walk. We’re pleased to show our support, and hope that the CDF generates the funds it needs to continue delivering such important, and such worthy community projects.
“It’d be nice if the Derbyshire Falcons get one over the Notts Outlaws, too!”
